Family PracticeSamantha Smith is an experience Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) at the Brooklyn Family Medical Clinic (BFMC), where she is committed to providing exceptional, patient-centered care with compassion and expertise.
Samantha earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Central College in Pella before graduating from Des Moines University with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She began her career at Brooklyn Medical Clinic more than 10 years ago, and she has proudly continued serving the community as the clinic has grown into Brooklyn Family Medical Clinic.
Samatha provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults. She especially values building long-term relationships with her patients. Having received care from the same healthcare provider throughout the first 30 years of her own life, she understands the importance of continuity of care and strives to provide that same trusted relationship for the individuals and families she cares for.
Outside of work, Samantha enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family, playing, watching, and coaching sports. She loves being outside and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes!
Samantha resides in Grinnell with her husband and four children. Together, they coach a variety of youth sports, and Samantha also enjoys teaching Sunday School in her community.
